Little Rann of Kutch


Little Rann of Kutch - The only sanctuary for around 3000 Asiatic Wild Ass in India. The Rann of Kutch is a geographically unique landscape that was once an arm of the Arabian Sea. As the land separated from the sea by geological forces, it became a vast, featureless plain encrusted with salt that is inundated with water during the rains. The sanctuary is spreading across 5000 kms of Little Rann.

Accommodation


Rann Riders is an ethnically designed eco-resort set amidst the wetlands and agricultural fields. This eco friendly resort has imaginatively designed using the locally sourced materials to match the theme of a local village. Ideal base to explore the wild, culture and handicrafts of the region.
Accommodations are in cottages style resembling the houses of local tribal decorated with mirrors, mud-plaster work and embroideries. Each air-conditioned cottage has a comfortable cane bed, dressing area and tiled bathroom.
A multi cuisine restaurants serves Indian and continental food. Tandoori food is the specialty of the resort.
