Diphlu River Lodge- Positioned on the bank of river Diphlu in the periphery of Kaziranga National park. It’s an ideal gateway to experience the Kaziranga National Park for an intimacy with natural world.
It houses 12 raised on cement stilt cottages, topped with natural materials like Bamboo and wood covered with thatched roofs to blend in with the forest around.4 Cottages are river facing and the rest are paddy facing.
The Machan – Means “Raised Jungle Platform” – Is where the day’s jungle stories are swapped between over drinks or delicious meals.
This is an air-conditioned sitting and dining area, which opens onto two Verandah. The larger Verandah, with a high thatched ceiling, wooden flooring and well-equipped bar, overlooks the Diphlu River and the national park. The smaller Verandah overlooks lovingly tended farmland and is an appealing location for al fresco breakfasts.
