Day 1 – Arrive Delhi
On arrival, after clearing immigrations, you will be met by Mysteries of India’s representative and escorted to your hotel.

Day 2 – Delhi
Today you start your day with Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.Visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid (Mosque), Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) and its nearby markets, India Gate and drive past the Presidents Palace and Parliament.

Day 3 – Delhi to Agra
Post breakfast drive to Agra. Check in at hotel.
Agra was the capital of the Afghan King Sikandar Lodhi’s empire from 1501. It passed to the Mughal’s soon after and in 1526 Emperor Babar transformed Agra, giving it a unique character and beauty. A great patron of the arts, he made changes to the culture and life-style of his people, which in turn brought forth some of the finest craftsmen, artists, statesmen, warriors and nobility ever seen in this part of India.

Day 4 – Agra to Fatehpur Sikri to Bishangarh
Morning drive to Bishangarh enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.
Fatehpur Sikri: Located 40 Km from Agra, This fort was built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 is in a superb and complete state of preservation, and within the walls are palaces and the Jama Masjid. The main entrance is the 54 metre high Buland Darwaza, the Gate of Victory.
Later drive to Bishangarh. Check in at hotel.
Alila Fort Bishangarh located in Bishangarh Village 6 km off the Delhi-Jaipur National Highway. Its extraordinary combination of rugged, untouched parts of the original fort and carefully reconstructed royal residential areas recreates the truly authentic flavour.

Day 5 – Bishangarh

Day 6 – Bishangarh to Dera Amer (Jaipur)
Leisurely breakfast.
Later drive to Jaipur.
Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan and owes its name, planning and foundation to the Maharaja Jai Singh II. In 1727 he decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to the plains, and thus Jaipur was conceived. It is also known as the “Pink City”, derived from the pink painted sandstone from which the buildings in the old walled city are constructed.
Check in at Dera Amer Wilderness Camp.
Located on the outskirts of Jaipur, set in the shadow of Amber fort, Dera Amer is a small camp in a private farm surrounded by the Aravali Hills. The habitat is rocky and semi-arid, with a mix of open scrubland. Small rural hamlets dot the area and comprise a mix of pastoral and farming families.

Day 8 – Jaipur to Nimaj (Chhatrasagar)
Morning drive to Nimaj.
Nimaj is a tranquil hideout surrounded by Aravalli Hills and an excellent retreat to relax and unwind while on a trip in Rajasthan.
Chhatra Sagar, The reservoir named Chhatra Sagar in memory of the late nobel, Thakur Chhatra Singh of Nimaj.The surrounding countryside continues to be cultivated by farmers in a way unchanged for centuries and the waters of the nearby ChhatraSagar sustain a healthy population of seasonal birdlife.

Day 9 – Nimaj (Chhatrasagar)

Day 10 – Nimaj to Nagaur
Morning drive to Nagaur.
Located to the northwest of the Marwar region of Rajasthan, the historical town of Nagaur carries traces of various dynasties that ruled here over the centuries. It was ruled by the Rajput’s and the Chauhan’s. With the arrival of Mughal era, the Rajput’s and Chauhan’s were never able to conquer it. The town also finds mention in the Mahabharata.

Day 12 – Nagaur to Jaisalmer
Morning drive to Jaisalmer.
Founded in 1156, Jaisalmer could be straight out of the Arabian Nights. It is one of India’s most exotic and unusual towns, and probably the most perfect Rajput walled city of all.
when it was on the camel train routes between India and central Asia. Merchants became very wealthy and built elaborate, extravagant and exquisitely carved homes.

Day 13 – Jaisalmer
Morning visit to Jaisalmer Fort, which was built by Rawal Jaisal in 1156. It sits atop Trikuta Hill, commanding views across the desert landscape in all directions. Known as Sonar Quila or the Golden Fort, it seems to rise from the sand, reflecting the desert’s hues in its golden colouring. The fort is in itself a whole township that consists of a palace complex, temples, the havelis of rich merchants and the residential complexes.

Day 14 – Jaisalmer to Jodhpur
Morning drive to Jodhpur. Arrive and check in to hotel.
Rao Jodha, the chief of the Rajput clan called the Rathore, founded the Bustling desert city of Jodhpur in 1459. It became the centre of the Rathore Kingdom known as Marwar, and lies in the heart of Rajasthan and on the edge of the Thar Desert. The massive fort dominates the city, topping a rocky hill that rises in its centre.

Mehrangarh Fort: Perched on a 125 m high hill the fort was founded in 1459. It is both impressive and formidable in both its location and construction.
Jaswant Thada: The graceful white marble cenotaph is the memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II, and was built in 1899.

Day 15 – Jodhpur to Jawai Bandh (The DAM)
Morning drive to Jawai Bandh (DAM).
Jawai Bandh is a dam built across the Jawai river, a tributary of Luni river, in Rajasthan
The dam was built by Maharaja Umaid Singh of Jodhpur.
The idea of building a dam over River Jawai was conceived in 1903 as its flooding waters caused heavy damage during monsoon. It was finally given shape in 1946. The project was to construct a dam across the river, creation of water reservoir, which could be used for water irrigation .
Jawai is now known for its leopard sightings, bird watching. [Many migratory bird species are spotted here during winter season. [Jawai dam is also known for large crocodile population, as of 2020 there were 377 crocodiles in Jawai Dam.

Day 17 – Jodhpur to Delwara (Devigarh)
Delwara nestled in the Aravalli Range hills, is a small town about 28 kms away from Udaipur. Delwara was originally known as ‘Devkul Patan Nagri’ which means the town of god.
It boasted over 1500 temples at one time, out of which there were over 400 Jain temples. Delwara was the center of learning and culture before the 15th century AD.

Later Explore the local village including the visits to 14th Century Jain temples, which were the inspiration for the famous temples of Dilwara near Mount Abu. They are exquisite in the design and carving. Delwara village retains its culture authenticity, with most of its inhabitants involved in traditional agriculture pursuits.

Day 18 – Excursion to Udaipur
Morning drive to Udaipur, the ‘City of Dreams’ also known as the Venice of the East, is interspersed with shimmering lakes, marble palaces and fountains. It is often referred to as the most romantic city in India.
The trip include visitto the City Palace & Museum, Jagdish Temple and the Sahelion ki Bari (Garden of the maids of honour).
Afternoon enjoy the private boat ride at Lake Pichhola.
Return to Devigarh.

Day 19 – Delwara to Mumbai (Flight)
After breakfast, transfer to Udaipur airport to board the flight to Mumbai.
On arrival, you will be met by Mysteries of India’s representative who will escort you to your hotel.

The city dates back to around the first century AD, when the area consisted of seven islands separated by the sea. In 1661 the Portuguese presented the port and islands of Bombay to the British, and in 1668 the East India Company leased all of the islands from the British Government for £10.00 in gold per year.
