Rann Riders by Kaafila, is a beautiful setup in a serene rural landscape near Dasada village and is a plush retreat at the edge of the Little Rann of Kutch.
Recently completely renovated cottages inspired from ancient Kooba houses and Bhunga structures of the neighbouring communities, Bajania and the Rabari shepherds tribes respectively.
The grounds of the lodge have also been comprehensively re-designed, and more ecologically appropriate native communities of flora is being planted to create a more natural and diverse habitat supporting a richer mix of native fauna species that delivers a *unique accommodation and rejuvenation*.
The accommodation is divided into three separate categories that offer the suitable options to select from.
Despite the categories, each cottage is fully equipped with modern facilities and stylish bathrooms and furnished with lovely local fabrics, high-quality furnishings and bed linens.
Standard Rann Cottages -This spacious leading category is nicely upgraded structurally and aesthetically with a “rustic charm” .
Deluxe Safari Cottages
These are large, airy, beautiful cottages with spacious verandah leading into a lovely sitting area and bedroom. The furnishings and décor are stylishly rustic.
Dasada Premium Wing
This is a set of 5 spacious rooms arranged in two blocks with the views over a water body and the other over tranquil farm. The premium wing is an exclusive annex enjoying different services and facilities with its own swimming pool, kitchen and choice of dining venues, including private dining.
This is perfect for family holidays or a group of friends. The Rooms can also be booked individually.
Dining: The Flamingo Restaurant, named for the state bird of Gujarat, serves a sparklingly redesigned menu that caters to the modern discerning palate, with offerings that range from robust local fare to light and nutritious but tasty dishes.
The restaurant is mainly focused on a buffet set-up with a live station for breakfast and an imaginative a la carte menu for those who wish to explore a variety of exciting cuisines – from vegetarian options to superb seafood sourced from the specialist vendors.
Apart from the restaurant, there is also a lively BBQ and tandoor set up by the pool for a fun al fresco dining experience.
The Premium block is served by its own exclusive kitchen and dining set-up.
