Day 2 – Delhi
Today you start your day with Sightseeing of Old and New Delhi.Visit Humayun’s Tomb, Qutab Minar, Red Fort, Jama Masjid (Mosque), Chandni Chowk (Moonlight Square) and its nearby markets, India Gate and drive past the Presidents Palace and Parliament.

Day 3 – Delhi to Chambal
Morning drive to Chambal. National Chambal Sanctuary, also called the National Chambal Gharial Wildlife Sanctuary, is a 5,400 sq. km tri-state protected area in northern India home to critically endangered gharial (small crocodiles), the red-crowned roof turtle and the endangered Ganges river dolphin. Also there are more than 250 birds species have been reported.
Afternoon at leisure or take a walk through the property for bird spotting and nearby farms.

Day 4 – Chambal
Today morning you begin with your first experience of the area is Chambal River Safari. Chambal River are best explored on boats as the gentle pace of the River Safari is designed to offer great sightings of the resident gharials, muggers & basking turtles. the many migratory and resident birds flying sorties; the lucky glimpses of the Gangetic river dolphins break the silence.
Afternoon enjoy a Heritage walk through Holipura village located near the Yamuna Ravines once a stronghold of the clan claim to be the descent from the Greek soldiers of Alexander’s army. Many of the clan rose to positions of great prominence and built substantial havelis (grand homes) . Built over a period of time, with influences from Mughal to Colonial and adapted to a rural scenario, the havelis have a unique architectural blend and are a beautiful synthesis of myriad traditions.

Day 5 – Chambal
Today morning enjoy the Game drive to Sarus Trail
The Sarus Crane Conservation Reserve starts around 30 km from the Chambal Safari Lodge, extending to about 100 km. It is a widespread wetland area, interspersed by cultivated fields, where large numbers of the Sarus Cranes breed. Although not a protected area but , recognising its importance as a habitat has designated the area a reserve with restrictions on development. Several species of wetland birds and raptors are also found along the course of this safari.

Day 6 – Chambal to Agra to Bharatpur
Drive to Agra to visit the Taj Mahal. Then continue to Bharatpur en-route visiting the abandoned city of Fathehpur Sikri.
Arrive Bharatpur. Bharatpur was founded by Maharaja Suraj Mal in 1733 AD, at that time it was a royal hunting retreat. Now it is home to one of the world’s best-known bird watching destinations, Keoladeo Ghana National Park (KNP).

Day 7 – Bharatpur
Morning enjoy the bird watching in the sanctuary. The paths are travelled by cycle rickshaw or on foot, and the marsh channels taken by small boat. About 350 species of birds have been sighted here, of which about 150 wing their way to the sanctuary on migration routes from as far away as China and Siberia. Before the monsoons, hundreds of exotic birds roost and nest here, and building activities start on the ‘babool’ and ‘Kadam’ trees of the park
Afternoon either go back to the sanctuary for bird watching or visit the Lohagarh Fort in the city.

Day 8 – Bharatpur to Ramathra
Drive to Ramathra Fort,Perfectly situated on a quiet hilltop between Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary and Ranthambore National Park offers the spectacular views of Kalisi Lake and its surrounding hills and countryside. Small rural hamlets around make this place really unique and interesting.

Day 9 – Ramathra
Though the fort itself is the attraction but there are few activities to experience while staying including Village walk to see the day today life of rural Rajasthan, Boat ride in the lake Kalisi and most interesting would the night game drive through buffer of Kaila Devi national park nearby. visitors regularly see several varieties of deer, blue bulls, wolves jackals, hyenas and, if lucky, a wild boar, leopard.

Day 10 – Ramathra to Ranthambhore
Drive to Ranthambhore National park. Ranthambore National Park encompasses nearly 400 sq km of dry deciduous forest. The park’s name derives from the fortress of Ranthambore (built in 944 AD), which sits on a rocky outcrop in the forest. The forests around the fort were once the private hunting grounds of the Maharajas of Jaipur.

Day 13 – Ranthambhore to Jaipur

Jaipur is the state capital of Rajasthan and owes its name, planning and foundation to the Maharaja Jai Singh II. In 1727 he decided to move from his hillside fortress at Amber to the plains, and thus Jaipur was conceived. It is also known as the “Pink City”, derived from the pink painted sandstone from which the buildings in the old walled city are constructed.

Day 15 – Jaipur to Shahpura Bagh
Morning drive to Shahpura Bagh.
Situated between Jodhpur and Udaipur, Shahpura Bagh was the summer residence of the rulers of Shahpura. Legend has it that in 1920’s the king of Shahpura mortgaged the family’s private property and jewels to bring water to his people. Today three lakes, along with some 250 smaller lakes, form the heart of a verdant wetland refuge. It is historic, picturesque, and tranquil. An idyllic setting where man and nature have come to understand each other.

Day 17 – Shahpura Bagh to Sardargarh
Drive to Sardargarh Fort, One of the most magnificent forts of Rajasthan, is an extravagant creation by men of a bygone era, placed amidst the mountains and farms. Sardar Singh, one of the most powerful ruler of the region built the Sardargarh Fort during 1738 to 1743.
Enjoy the hospitality of the fort.
Later in the evening explore the nearby wilderness area by 4×4 jeep. Spotting wildlife with powerful spot light makes thrilling and exciting. Searching for Hyenas, Wolves, Fox, Jackals, and if lucky enough may encounter a Leopard.

Sardargarh

Day 18 – Sardargarh to Bera
Bera Frequently referred to as “Leopard Lair”, lies between the tourist hot spots of Udaipur and Jodhpur. Its stark landscape, set against the backdrop of the craggy Aravalli Hills. The surrounding forests teem with unique plants and animals – a variety of cacti, towering kikar and palash trees and other desert species. Hyenas, hares, foxes and wildcats pad around in the bush.
But what makes Bera truly unique is that it is perhaps the only natural environment on Earth where leopards – one of India’s most feared predators – and humans have lived harmoniously for more than a century.

Explore the region with evening game drive looking for the predators.
The large granite formation are scattered with other scrubs, and rocky dry river beds the kopjes are scattered with religious shrines and temples. The leopards of Bera have accepted these as a part of their habitat and are living happily with the tribes of the villages around.

Early morning Jawai dam safari for bird watching. A highlight of any trip to the region is a visit to the Jawai Dam. The large reservoir is home to many species of migratory and residential birds. Being the biggest dam in the western Rajasthan and has been a paradise for migratory birds and it has a rich Biodiversity. You can also see a large variety of migratory birds like Spot-billed duck, comb duck, Sarus cranes, Geese, Common Crane, Demoiselle Crane, Northern Pintail, wagtails, pelicans in winters, while Crocodiles keep basking at Jawai dam.
